The Customer Support Technicians provide first level customer support on phone, email and on-site for our customer support center. CST’s duties will include a variety of semi-routine support activities both within the office and on the customer site.

Responsibilities:
Provides troubleshooting and repair via technical phone support to Resellers & End Users
Supplies product information of a technical nature for troubleshooting purposes & mentoring customer on product maintenance
May write installation notes and application notes that provide customer with guidelines for performing upgrades, maintenance, and product integration in the field
Assesses and responds to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or fixing problem equipment
Maintains daily log of all calls and work performed on company database for the purpose of future review and/or further future support
RF Site Survey and Installation Pre-survey
Coordination with civil works sub-contractors
On-Site installation and commissioning of VSAT Station
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years in helpdesk / customer support environment
Demonstrated proficiency with the following technical capabilities: Microsoft operating systems, Internet and networking technologies.
Problem-solving skills within high-pressure call center environments.
Experience with use of test equipment such as line simulators, digital multi-meter (DMM), Spectrum Analyzer
Use of solder skills sometimes required
Assembly of VSAT Antennas
Basic wiring and layout
Drivers license
Location: Stationed in Africa
