Senior Accountant
Responsibilities:
• To oversee the entire financial reporting, management reporting and regulatory reporting functions
• To perform financial analysis by month, by product, and by sales channels.
• Compare actual performance against budget/projection and highlight areas for improvement/comments
• To handle annual budgeting, regular projection, annual audit & tax computation
• Assist each division head to closely monitor and work in compliance of the approved budget
• To deal with people at all levels from different departments on business review and analysis
• Critically review the profit margin and return on investment of each project/product for financial monitoring purpose
• To set up financial reporting system for timely and accurate reporting
• The above functions apply to both HK and Overseas operations (including Africa & Nigeria)
Requirements:
• Possess min. a Degree in Finance / Accountancy / or CPA / CA or equivalent qualifications.
• 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Good staff/people management to facilitate efficient and effective job accomplishment
• Problem solving skill, hardworking, independency, detail orientated and organized
• Proficient in MS office applications. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership and analytical skills is essential.
• Applicants who can commence immediately and / or within short notice will have an added advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English is a MUST. Being able to converse in Mandarin/Cantonese has added advantage.
• Strong writing and presentation skills.
• Knowledge in account software, Quicken, Quick book will have an advantage
• Location: Stationed in Africa & Hong Kong
