District Sales Engineer
Glacier Garlock Bearings, an industry leading global manufacturer of high performance bearings, is seeking an experienced District Sales Engineer for India.
This is an exciting time for us! New products—new processes! The successful candidate for this position will have the following competencies and responsibilities:
· Ability to travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to obtain orders and build relationships. Prefer residence in or near major metropolitan area.
· Use catalogs, samples and technical information to sell existing products and introduce new ones.
· Train distributors and customers in unique product features as well as proper product utilization and selection.
· Investigate and resolve customer problems.
· Prepare reports on business activities with territory.
We’re looking for people with software skills, especially MSOffice Suite and database development. Engineering degree preferred plus minimum of three years outside sales experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits plan plus a generous 401(k).
