Requirements
1) A Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
2) At least 4 years of relevant experience on IT Security.
3) Knowledge in managing projects, administration knowledge in one or more of the following platforms:
- Unix (Solaris, Linux), Windows 2000 with Active Directory, NT 4.0, AS400, Mainframe, Database (Oracle, MS SQL) and Lotus Notes.
4) Knowledge in security products like firewall, VPN, IDS, LDAP, PKI, SSO.
5) Willing to undertake administrative duties if required.
6) Have strong tasks and time management skills
7) Resourceful team player with good communication skills and interpersonal skills
8) Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
9) Be able to work well with other people in a team-oriented environment.
10) Must be well organized with excellent documentation skills.
Job Duties
The IT Security Administrator is required to perform basic systems’ administrations on the above-mentioned platforms. You must have experience in User ID administration, setting of security policies and assigning access rights to users. Other duties include problem resolution over the phone and on-site user support. Administrative duties include documentation on security standards and related procedures.
