Our major client (a Foreign Multinational Company) has a short term contract (3-4 months) requirement for a Solution Architect. Requirements:
1) Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent.
2) At least 5-7 years IT working experience in major environment.
3) Completed at least 4-5 Full SDLC and at least 2 as a Solution Architect.
4) Excellent understanding of latest technologies (Web Technologies, .NET, J2EE, RDBMS, n-Tier, RUP - UML, etc).
5) Able to propose and promote the right solution architecture to support the business requirement.
6) Hands-on experience on Application Servers.
7) Good documentation and presentation skills.
8) Good inter-personal and communication skills.
9) Available within 2 weeks.
Job Duties:
1) To work closely with the Project Manager and Business Users on their requirements.
2) To study, analyze, evaluate/research, architect, propose, present and promote the right solution and technology for the business requirement.
3) To liaise with vendors/partners on the technology and product demo, testing and/or evaluation.
4) To prototype and demonstrate the solution based on the proposed solution architecture.
5) To document and deliver the final solution architecture to the Project Manager.
