START DATE : 01 JULY 2003
Contract Period : Initial contract period will be 6 months & renewable for every 6
months
POSITION SUMMARY : Provide technical telephone support to customers in regards to desktops & notebooks


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Diagnosis & problem solving, via telephone, computer systems & software systems within standard time frames.
· Maintain accurate call logging and tracking into Helpdesk database.
· Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse range of people with varying levels of technical understanding and ability in international environment.
· Have strong understanding and technical ability for both PC environment and applications supported and sold by Dell Asia Pacific Sdn.
· Able to work shifts.
· Able to work on Public Holidays due to the job nature of supporting Asia Pacific.

REQUIREMENT

· Qualifications in a computing or computer/engineering related discipline. A degree is desirable.
· Certification in MCSE/MCP/A+ is desirable.
· Demonstrate a strong understanding and technical ability to support PCs, operating systems and applications.
· Desirable to have 2 to 3 years experience providing direct support to end-users either in Customer Service/Field Engineering or corporate help desk.
· Possess broad knowledge of software, hardware, storage technologies, switches/routers and networking technologies.
· Able to speak, read and write proficiently in Thai and English.
