INDUSTRY: Plastics - Injection Molding
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: "Hands-On" Molding Department Manager for in-plant start-up molding operation. Will start facility with a single press in June and expand to 4 presses 24-hour operation by next year. Excellent growth opportunity with proprietary products.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Planning and managing all production activities
REPORTS TO: n/a
SUPERVISES: n/a
EDUCATION: Strong hands-on experience of polypropylene injection molding
EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: Minimum 8 years of supervisory experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with 500-ton+ injection-molding machines
- Extensive knowledge of polypropylene resins
- Working knowledge of basic mold maintenance and repairs
