Associate will inspect fiber optic connectorized cables. Inspeciton will include verfication of correct connector ends, correct assembly of the ends, length, basic packaging and labeling.
The inspection may include observation of a laser-type continuity test, Insertion/return loss and/or interferometer (DORC) test. (The supplier will actually perform these tests)
There is also a visual inspection at high magnification of the fiber optic end to verify proper polishing. Avaya will provide workmanship standards for all inspeciton criteria.
