INDUSTRY: This assignment is for a client in the Automobile industry.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support plant network of 800 Siemens PLCs/CNC's/HMIs running over fiber Ethernet network including S300 PLC and 840D CNC. Applications support for data collection, reporting, backup, gauging. Strong proficiency in Siemens PLC/CNC programming, Profibus, TCP/IP, PC based control and Microsoft Operating Systems a must. Heavy user support working out plant floor problems with hourly and salary bargaining unit employees. Office Automation systems support for login, security, and hardware problems. Software experience using Siemens Step 7 Programming, Protool, WinAC, Sinumerik is perferred. Candidate must be available for 2nd or 3rd shift, and some weekend and holiday work.
