LOCATION: US - NE - Nebraska
INDUSTRY: Manufacturing, high volume metal stampings & assemblies
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish a daily plan to ensure the most efficient production each day. Working with the Plant Superintendent and office staff to convey production issues on a daily basis is also critical.
Assign toolmakers to dies they will most likely succeed working on. Working with production toolmakers to ensure they are educated on the tool for future runs.
Establish and implement new ideas to continually improve the production environment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
This individual must have an extensive background in building, repairing and running production tooling. The position requires the individual to have excellent communication skills and temperament, as he will be responsible for mentoring upcoming toolmakers in this area.
REPORTS TO: Plant Manager
SUPERVISES: Approximately 6 production toolmakers
EDUCATION: Extensive background in building, repairing and running production tooling.
EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: Five to ten years
