Minimum Requirements:
· B.Sc Degree in Metallurgical / Chemical Engineering.
· 12 years experience in QA/QC, corrosion and inspection engineering activities in a hydrocarbon production environment with at least 8 years in supervisory position.
· Very good knowledge of written and spoken English.
Job Description
· Directs, co ordinates, audits and controls, inspection and corrosion mitigation activities on all company’s and ADNOC’s sole risk (ASR) oil, gas and support facilities. Provides a focussed first line technical support and advice to Fields/Terminal on non routine and inter fields inspection and corrosion mitigation activities. Plans and directs the implementation of various inspection/survey programs, overseas and reviews analyses of survey findings and endorses and / or provides appropriate recommendations for maintenance or replacement, as required. Identifies, sets and updates the overall company policies, standards and specifications for facilities inspection, corrosion control and material selection matters by controlling and updating the company’s corrosion and inspection management systems and the record data management system to ensure that ADCO’s assets are operated safely and fit for their intended purpose. Includes initiating fitness for purpose evaluations on components suffering corrosion or metallurgical deterioration and ensuring that all inspection activities and corrosion mitigation measures are consistently applied in accordance with the accepted practices, ADCO and industry standards.
