Job Description
· To monitor and analyse the plant technical performance including feed gas quality, product yields and quality specifications, operating conditions, thermal efficiency, equipment performance and economics.
· To troubleshoot, identify and propose plant performance improvements, to address technical operating problems.
· To monitor catalyst molecular sieves unloading, loading and catalyst performance monitoring activities.
· To organize test runs for analysis of unit performance, establishing optimum operating parameters and for identifying process bottlenecks for increasing the plant throughput.
· To review modifications/new designs to existing plant to make sure that all safety requirements are considered to ensure system integrity.
· To ensure the application of all modern tools especially computer based to achieve optimum plant performance, including PIS (Plant information System) UMS(Laboratory Information Management System) and Process Simulation models(TGNET, HYSIS)
· To monitor plant effluent and emissions and develop and impellent appropriate process schemes to ensure compliance with the company HSE objectives.
· To follow up functionally of advanced process control modules implemented for maintaining steady plant operating conditions and optimum product yields.
· To recommend process and technology for plant/equipment for new projects, as well as for upgrading modernization of existing plants/equipment.
· To enforce the implementation of the company health, safety and environment management system(HSE-MS) and also promote awareness of its use among all division and department personnel.
· To provide instruction to meet competency based training programs for UAE Nationalization.
· To carry out risk assessment & HAZOP studies with operations and safety personnel, for critical activities such as plant modivifications, start up and shutdown procedures
