Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of software developers in a project team to support existing and develop new applications based on Java/J2EE technologies.
Involve in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation & maintenance of applications systems as well as providing operational support.
Responsible for staff development.
Handle project management of application development in a cross functional team.
Define project requirements, timelines and deliverables.
Work with internal and external agencies in the delivery of project objectives.
Requirements:
A good Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or its equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in management of mid to large size projects.
Minimum of 4 years' working experience in applications development with good understanding of Java/J2EE, UML and other new technologies. OO project experience is beneficial.
Proven track in the management of developments and implementation of client-server application systems.
Must have development experience on Java, C, GUI tools, Oracle Applications Server (9iAS), Unix (preferably Sun Solaris).
Excellent project management and analytical skills.
Highly-energetic with excellent team working skills.
Exposure to financial or publishing industry is an advantage.
