Reports to President. Seeking a top-notch sales, BD consultant, contractor, employee in Asia / Pacific Rim. Company is 10+ years old, private, with Fortune 500 partners. Company provides innovative worldwide deployed signaling gateway and application development products and consulting. Company develops the tools for applications and New Networks. Seek individual comfortable selling solutions for SS7/IP integrations. Establish a regional company sales presence in Asia, develop territory sales plan, and present regional budget. Individual sales contributor. Identify /qualify product partners, service integrators for the territory. Identify, qualify and close sales and post sales activities DO RFI, RFQ or RFPs. Close sales, oversee payments, monitor project implementations. Visit (potential) customers. Excellent knowledge of telecom signaling, wireless communication networks and services, and advanced intelligent networks. Fluent in English and Mandarin a plus. Seeking a candidate residing in Asia or Pacific Rim. Experience in selling to telecom equipment providers, SIs, VARs. Only candidates listing recent and past years quota achievement will be considered. Candidates from Ericsson, Hughes Software, SS8, Nortel, Siemens, Convergent, Ulticom, Lucent, Alcatel, Comverse, Trillium or similar telecom/software relevant company. MUST have an understanding of the SS7/IP convergence market with emphasis on 2.5G, 3G and Advanced Intelligent Networks for SS7, IP, VOIP, telecommunication network topologies, protocols and ATM signaling networks. MUST have sold telecommunications solutions for both the emerging wireless and wireline industries. MUST understand the various phases of the software development cycle, architecture, design, testing. MUST be and engineer who has sold. Seeking candidates already residing in Asia, or Pacific Rim with heavy solutions sales SS7/IP. A strong individual contributor able to work independently.
