Candidates must live local to Bangkok. For our new office in Bangkok, we are looking for customer support engineers.
In this role you are the first point of contact for any question that one of our customers may have with the respect to the installed system. You are to provide the first line of support. As a backup, engineers from regional headquarters for Asia Pacific in Singapore are ready to support you with their in-depth knowledge of the different products.
Candidates for this position must have the following pre-requisites:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Telecommunications or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in (mobile) telecommunications, preferably in value added services like SMS, WAP, IVR and/or voicemail
- Good communications skills in English and Thai
- Excellent knowledge of UNIX, TCP/IP, Cisco, SS.7, Internet technologies
- Interest in new wireless data technologies
Candidates with knowledge and/or experience in the following fields have an advantage:
- Customer Support role
- Voice over IP
- OpenVMS
- Unified Messaging.
