Requirements :
1) Diploma or Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with at least 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience on MS Windows NT 4.0 Server (Win 2K Advance Server experience is beneficial), Websphere Application Server and Sun Solaris.
2) Experience in Unix Shell and Perl scripting.
3) Able to pick up new technologies within a short period and adopt to rapid change of environment.
4) Strong tasks and time management skills.
5) Good communication skills.
6) Good interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
7) Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
8) Must be able to be on 24/7 standby mode
Job Duties :
1) Provide administration and operations support on MS Win NT 4.0 Servers, Websphere Application Servers and Sun Solaris.
2) Provide technical support to Application Developers and end-users.
3) Perform systems performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning and maintenance.
4) Pro-actively monitor, pre-empt, diagnose and rectify systems/ web server related problems.
5) To evaluate and recommend new releases and fix requirements
