We have immediate requirements for (Contract and Permanent) for Desktop-LAN/End-User Support Engineers. Requirements :
1) At least 1 to 3 years relevant working experience on Server & Desktop Hardware, MS Windows 2000, MS Win NT 4.0, Active Directory, Windows Workstation, Win 9x / 2000 Professional and/or NetWare in an Enterprise or Regional environment. Unix experience will be beneficial. Those with 1 year experience will be considered for Desktop Support Engineer positions. Those with 3 or more years of experience will be considered for Systems Engineer positions.
2) Able to install and configure LAN equipment (Network PCs, Printers, etc).
3) Experience on Veritas, MS Exchange 5.5/2000 / Lotus Notes Server.
4) Experience on Routers, Switches, Hubs and Structured cabling, IIS, Firewall or SAN will be beneficial.
5) MCSE and/or CCNA preferred.
6) Good communication and inter-personal skills.
7) Self-independent and able to work as a team.
Job Duties :
1) To provide end-user on-site and telephone support.
2) Install and configure new desktop and printer servers.
3) Install and configure Lotus Notes or MS Exchange, browsers and standard off the shelf software.
4) To pro-actively monitor, pre-empt, diagnose and rectify systems and network related problems.
5) Documentation and provide user-training.
