Md Aslam Bhure is a fanatic who has lost his bearings. The country where he elected to live after Partition is a Hindu-majority country. It is due to the magnanimity of Hindus that he is able to file a case in the Supreme Court and get a verdict. He is given equality in this country and enjoys freedom of speech.
However, his aim seems to be to dominate the majority community and enforce his will on the Hindus, like Babur and other Mughals did centuries ago, as a result of which he is now a Muslim. If he wants to practise Islam let him do so within the freedom given by the Indian Constitution, which is quite liberal. But to engage in the politics of "appeasement of Muslims" and cultivating them as vote banks, in the process subverting the SC, is not pardonable. He had his say and the SC gave its verdict. Now he still wants to waste the nation's time and create further communal tensions.
To him I ask, where is the reciprocation of the "give and take" spirit shown to Muslims by the Hindus. Why do Muslims in India always fight with Hindus and demand more favours at every opportunity? In spite of creating Pakistan, why is the scourge of Islam not removed from India?
