Position
The position is at first for a representative of the Company in Thailand, to be changed subsequently to become the manager of the Company in Thailand.
For the first period of maybe 6 months the person will work alone. He/she will study the markets for the company and make some sale attempts at some of our potential markets in Bangkok. These will typically be:
A. The general market for students preparing for such tests as SAT’s, GMAT, TOEFL, TOEIC and GRE. The person will advertise (we will provide all professional assistance), offer courses and register students. The teachers will come to teach these courses from our Singapore facility. He/she will need to find venues for the courses, original ways of advertising etc. When we see a true potential in the market, we will bring permanent teachers and move to a permanent site that will include classrooms and other facilities.
B. The school market and the corporate market for the company’s e-learning applications. This part is a real B2B sales+marketing job. The person will need to make lots of appointments and represent our successful products and services.
C. The person will need to help us localize some e-products into the Thai language and culture.
Requirement
The person we will be looking for will, then, have to be:
A. Relatively young (25-35 years old),
B. University graduate,
C. PC literate,
D. A lot of sales and marketing ability with minimum 3 years of solid experience in e-business,
E. Self starter
F. Entrepreneurial
G. Thai Mother Tongue and Mother Tongue level English.
