Requirements
1) A Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2a) Position A (Manager Level – Permanent and Contract positions)
- At least 3 – 4 years of relevant experience on Mainframe (MVS), Tandem, VAX/ VMS, 0S/400, NT, Netware, Unix and/or Firewall Security administration and support
- Have good understanding of Systems/Network Security Policies and standards
- Able to lead a team of Security Professionals
- Able to implement suitable Security policies and standards
2b) Position B (Permanent and Contract Positions)
- At least 1- 2 years of relevant experience on IBM Mainframe, Tandem, VAX/VMS, 0S/400, NT, Netware, Unix and/or Firewall Security administration and support
3) Familiar with the latest developments in the IT security arena covering the whole spectrum of hardware and software on the PC, client/server and mainframe platform.
4) Audit and IT experience will be beneficial.
5) Good written, communication and inter-personal skills.
6) ISS Certification will be beneficial.
Job Duties
1) To create and maintain new user ids/accounts
2) To support Application Developers and end-users on IT Security aspects
3) To pro-actively monitor, pre-empt and rectify security related problems / loop-holes
4) To assist in new project implementations
5) To evaluate and recommend new IT security products/solutions
6) To document new security procedures/setup
7) To advise management on new IT security policies and threats
