Job specification for Production Unix Systems Administrator.
Role:
As a production Unix SA, the successful candidate will be responsible for the daily support and maintenance of our production environment (Unix x 70; HP x 12). He/She will be part of a 5 member Unix and DBA support/project team.
Responsibilities:
· Administration
· Monitoring
· Trouble-shooting
· Vendor liaison
Requirements / Skill set:
· 3~5 years experience as an SA
· Technical knowledge on:
o Sun:
§ Solaris 2.6 / 2.8
§ NIS
§ NTP
§ DNS
§ Veritas Volume Manager, File System & Clustering
o HP:
§ HP UX 10 & 11
§ HP Openview / ITO
§ Service Guard
§ Omniback
o Autosys
o Networker
· Financial industry experience
· Business knowledge a plus
· English fluency essential; Japanese a plus
· Sybase / Oracle skillset a plus
· TRIARCH experience a plus
