Our client (a Foreign IT Vendor) has an immediate opening for the above position. 1. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1.1 Responsible for network consultancy and design, project management and delivery of networks.
1.2 Responsible for all aspects of computer network security; implement, maintain & administer Firewalls.
1.3 Involve in network security contingency planning/disaster recovery.
1.4 Improve backup system for NT/Exchange servers.
1.5 Involve day-to-day co-ordination with clients and suppliers/partners for installation, maintenance and repair services for clients’ equipment.
1.6 Monitor network performance & make recommendations to the customers for upgrade/expansions.
1.7 Perform on-site troubleshooting.
1.8 Manage infrastructure projects and PC setup.
1.9 Manage Exchange migration projects.
1.10 Provide 24 hours standby services to the clients.
2. QUALIFICATIONS
2.1 Degree / Diploma in Engineering or Computer-related disciplines.
2.2 Minimum 2 years’ working experience in networking projects & service delivery.
2.3 Preferably be a MCSE.
2.4 Communications network experience in a mixed environment (IBM, UNIX, Netware, NT, etc.) will be an added advantage.
2.5 Knowledge of network, internet security & implementing of security policies in different types of IT environment will be an added advantage.
2.6 Good interpersonal skills with strong customer service orientation.
2.7 Organized, outgoing and independent worker with good communication & co-ordination skills.
