DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Maintenance of Laboratory Management Systems of all Saudi Aramco Refineries. Development of interfaces to Refinery Operation Support System (ROSS), Plant Information (PI) System, and Refinery Information System. Administration of Virtual Machine (VMS) operating system, and Oracle database. Provide user support on Laboratory Information Management Systems. Define and engineer the Laboratory Information Management Systems.
SKILLS REQUIRED AND ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Strong interpersonal skills. Extensive experience in a support role. Analytical skills to examine the problems and generate alternative solutions. Good communication and presentation skills. Willing to transfer the skills to Saudi Arabs. Extensive experience in Open VMS, Oracle, and Beckman Computerized Automated Laboratory System (CALS) Laboratory Information Management Systems. Extensive experience in maintaining and troubleshooting the Laboratory Information Systems.
DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Has done at least one upgrade to CALS.
Has done at least two upgrade to VMS.
Has some knowledge of Windows NT and Network.
