Immediate contract openings (1-year or longer) by Major IT Vendor.
Requirements
1) A Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2) At least 5 years of experience in enterprise LAN/WAN environment
3) Proficient in setting up and configuration of MS 2000 Server (especially Active Directory), MS Exchange 2000 Server, MS Proxy Servers and MS SQL Server.
4) Hands-on experience on major Hardware brands (eg. HP, Compaq, IBM and /or Dell Servers)
5) Posses MCSE and/or CCNA
6) Knowledge of Citrix Metaframe is beneficial
7) Visual Basic/ VC++ / C++ and/or VB Scripting experience will be beneficial as well.
8) Knowledge of COM/DCOM, MTS and/or MS MQ.
Job Duties
1) To provide post-sales implementation and technical support to MNC clients.
2) To perform systems performance tuning and capacity planning.
3) To pro-actively monitor, pre-empt, diagnose and rectify systems related problems.
4) To carry out systems upgrades or installations
5) To carry out server consolidation works
