Immediate contract opening (1 year or longer) by our MNC IT Vendor client to support a Major Foreign bank’s Regional DataCentres.
Responsibilities:
1) Facility Management
Responsible for the well-being of all the M&E facilities such as Electrical System, Air-Conditioning System, Fire Protection, Building Management System
Take charge of supervision of facility maintenance services and project works
To plan, coordinate and advise on works related to facility activities
To ensure and manage the vendors quality and meeting service level agreement
To assist the facility management manager to oversee the day-day operations of the data centers
2) Data Communication Cabling Management
Setup processes and procedures for cabling works, e.g. coordination, quality assurance and documentation
Coordinating with cabling vendors and network users on cable connectivity, routing and installation requirements
Provide planning on cabling routing, managing the data center cabling environment, housekeeping and onsite supervision of all cabling works
3) Documentation Management
Generating and maintenance of processes, standards, schedules, equipment
layout plans, equipment inventory for the above
Keeping and maintenance of inventory, floor plans, cabling routing for the above management works
Generating of reports, minutes and related documents
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma or a Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ IT/ Communication Engineering
At least 5 years of working experience in relevant environment
Knowledge and relevant working experience on IT Network and Data Communication Cabling work for Data Center
Knowledge and relevant working experience on M&E management/ Maintenance/Project work on M&E facility n Electrical & Air-Conditioning system, building management system, security, Fire protection are preferred
Good documentation- application programs such as Microsoft Office, Knowledge in Auto-Cad, MS project will be added advantage
Good people and vendor management skill
Team player Independent, keen learner, good interpersonal and problem solving skills
Able to work under pressure
Willing to work at odd hours and on 7x24 standby
