Our client for this position is one of the top 3 US vendors and considers this position very critical for their success in Asia. The position is as follows:


To win and manage projects/engagements through its life cycle including project proposals, initiation, assist contract negotiations, project planning and scheduling; assist resource gathering and assist management and crisis control, etc.
·Achieve 100% customer satisfaction
·Complete customer projects/engagements within the allocated budget and timeframe
·Coordinate with peers, other consultants and contractors on the engagement tasks, responsibilities, assignments
·Maintain good working relationship with this company business partners
·Ensure quality delivery and resolve and mediate issues; escalate as appropriate in order to avoid crisis
·Project documentation/communication control and tracking (Good English writing skill is an advantage)
·Be the ambassador at the customer site
·Look for additional engagements at the customer site or in a similar vertical area
·Services Pre-sales
To be an this company software Applications Expert and provide application consultancy on designated products:-
·have or develop in-depth knowledge of designated this company products and technical infrastructure
·provide product implementation services including but not limited to requirements study, analysis, prototyping, solutions proposals, education, presentations, issues resolution, technical/interface architecture, data conversion, installation, system analysis and 'Go-Live' activities
·to reach personal target goals and assist the team and this company to achieve team goals Additionally, you will.
·implement project/engagement review and quality assurance processes
·Provide input to the different PS practices on the evolving needs of the different customers, so as to better tune PS offerings
·Work on multiple projects/engagements, depending on the size of the engagements

EXTERNAL/INTERNAL INTERFACE :

You are directly responsible for all aspects of the client relationship from the engagements/projects' perspective; in-depth engagement management, team participation, and relationship building. You are also familiar with current industry business and technical trends and developments. You possess a strong service orientation and this is reflected in your relationship to clients and to Internal as well as External partners. During the engagement, you are the primary contact for the Customer and should be up to date with License Sales Representatives, Consulting Business Managers or others who may be providing account management such as ESAMS (enterprise account managers).

As an Engagement Manager, you are this company's ambassador at the Customer site. Your customer interaction process is consistent and clear. You are able to handle difficult personnel situations directly, using appropriate description and respect for the customer. In addition to the engagement at hand, there may be opportunities within a corporation (or in similar vertical area) that should be pursued (time permitting) that could lead to this company PS opportunities independent of license sales. In partnership with your management team you will actively participate in the process to promote team morale and productivity. This may include participating in management meetings, this company PS strategic initiatives and working with others to determine team assignments for projects strategic to this company.

QUALIFICATIONS :
================
Typical numbers of years of relevant experience: 8+ in software application implementation, consultancy and project management

Minimum level of education: Bachelor's degree, Fields of Study: Computer or Engineering.
Technical
·analysis and design skills of complex architectures
·knowledge of distributed and network-based computing concepts
·familiarity with application implementation processes
·understands how development life cycle and methodology are used to solve business and technical problems Product knowledge should include:-
-B2B, B2C, E-Commerce and Supply Chain Management related products
-Intranet/Internet Application Services (ASPs) and related technologies
-Java, C++, OOP, Client Server, RDBMS and Distributed Application development
-candidates with Sun/Netscape products or similar products.
