Immediate openings (contract – 1 year or longer and perm positions) by our client (Major IT Vendors and banks).
Requirements :
1) At least 3 years relevant working experience
2) Proficient in Unix or NT on one of the followings :
a) Network Programming using 'C' (TCP/IP , SNA LU 6.2, Unix Socket) or;
b) Interprocess Communication programming (Messages , Queues, Semaphore, Unix Sockets etc) or;
c) Distributed Process Programming (RCP , Transaction Server etc)
3) Exposure to RDBMS (Preferably Oracle 7.3 and above).
4) Experience in VB, Java and HTML will be bonus.
5) Banking experience beneficial
6) Good interpersonal and communication skills
Job Description :
1) To study, design, develop and maintain middle layer (communication or network) interfaces, programs or inter-processes
2) To test and implement the interfaces, programs or inter-processes
3) Later to migrate existing interface to Java technology
