Immediate openings (contract – 1 year or longer and permanent) by MNCs and Banks.
Requirements
1) A Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2) At least 3 – 5 years experience in Oracle database administration and technical support on Sun Solaris, IBM AIX or HP-UX Enterprise Systems. Proficient in PL/SQL.
3) Hands-on experience on Capacity Planning, Performance Tuning and Migration of Enterprise databases.
4) Strong in TCP/IP and Unix / C Scripting.
5) Novell NetWare, NT Servers and Windows 2000 Servers experience will be beneficial.
Job Duties
1) To administer and maintain existing Oracle RDBMS.
2) To provide technical support to Application Developers and end-users
3) To perform database and systems performance tuning and capacity planning; and Release upgrade.
4) To pro-actively monitor, pre-empt, diagnose and rectify database/systems related problems.
