JOB CODE 10195: MANAGER, TAIWAN FIELD APPLICATIONS
SUMMARY
The Manager, Field Applications will be located in the Taiwan Applications Center supporting wireless customers. The individual will be reporting to the Director, Taiwan Field Applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support local customer needs for wireless PAs and RF switches.
Pre post-technical sales support.
Instrumental in securing design wins.
Provide feedback to the segment on current and future products.
Participate in future product roadmap.
Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline with RF and microwave major (complex modulation techniques).
Minimum of 3 years experience in design/testing of wireless handsets. GSM experience a requirement
Hands on experience with RF network, spectrum analyzer, RF power meters.
Good communication skills in English and Mandarin.
Good computer skills.
PA designs experience an asset.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact cross-functionally, within all levels of the organization.
Must be team-oriented.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to read, write and speak English. In addition, must have the same fluency in Mandarin or local Taiwanese language. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
