Main Duties & responsibilities:
· Plan building facilities maintenance program.
· Disseminates information, supervise activities and delegation of responsibilities.
· Prepare necessary manpower, materials, procedures, tools and schedule for the implementation of
Building maintenance plan.
· Check implementation and effectiveness of building maintenance activity.
· In-charge in the inventory of all building facility accessories including fire fighting accessories and
Safety equipment’s and consumables.
· Conduct safety orientation on all newly recruited employees.
· Observe, follow and implement general safety procedure on all areas of responsibility.
· Responsible in the implementation of 5’s.
· Filing of records and controlled documents needed.
II. ACHIEVEMENTS / PROJECTS handled:
Projects:
1. Capacitor upgrading
2. Designing and Installation of new deep well
3. Re-engineering for compressor pipings
4. Re-engineering for boiler water line pipings
5. Rehabilitation of LOOS boiler as follows:
· Repair of boiler flue tube
· Re-tubing of fire tube
· Installation of Refractory cement
· Hydro test of boiler
6. Pre-pressurizing tanks fabrication.
7. New machine installation.
Responsibility in every project:
· Research and study project line-up proposal
· Prepare technical drawing plans, Project costing, and Schedule of activity (time frame) for the project.
· Assist in the estimation of materials to be used and discuss to suppliers material technical and specification demand for the specified projects.
· Assist in the supervision of field works.
· And ensure safety in all areas.
Proposal for cost down:
1. Installation of additional heat exchangers to save on fuel consumption by recovering waste heat.
2. Study for alternative lubricants to replace high cost lubricants of compressors with the same characteristics and quality to save as much of 40% on lubricant cost per year of operation.
3. Propose and re-design motor agitator for brine solution as a replacement for high-pressurized air to agitate brine solution for boiler soft water.
4. Assist in studying cost down proposal on electrical consumption by upgrading capacitors power factor.
5. Assist in re-engineering of compressor piping to minimize pressure losses resulting to high electrical cost.
