OPTIMIZATION OF PROCESS FOR RESIN TRANSFER MOULDING
To increase the production rate of FRP toilet models in trains.
Ø This was implemented by the modification of Acetyl Acetone Peroxide as catalyst and cobalt naphthenate as accelerator which was found to have higher curing rate with good mechanical properties.
Ø Mould modification involves the position of air vents which results in elimination of dry spots
