2. Rationale of these sustained release formulations were analyzed.
3. Investigation of the views of Pharmacists, Physicians and Patients regarding SR dosage form.
M.Pharm Project:
Title: Pharmacognostic studies of aerial parts of Cocculus hirsutus (Linn.) Diels.
Description:
1. Pharmacognostical study: Macroscopical and Microscopical evaluation of Cocculus hirsutus (Linn.) Diels.
2. Phytochemical evaluation: Quantitative chemical evaluation of the various plant constituents in the aerial parts of the plant.
3. Chromatography: Separation of the active constituents from the ethanolic extract of the plant using Column Chromatography and characterized by TLC. Spectral studies of the separated constituents by IR and NMR.
4. Pharmacological study: Screening of the active constituents for anti-bacterial, antifungal and hypoglycemic activity in alloxan induced diabetic rats.
