Project : Development of the Alliance VLSI CAD distribution package.
The Alliance VLSI CAD software is used for mainly digital VLSI design. It includes a VHDL compiler and simulator, logic synthesis tools, automatic place and route, DRC, extractor, functional abstraction and formal proof tools etc. Responsibilities include studying the Alliance software and developing a distribution package to be used by engineering faculty and students for the study of digital VLSI design. The package includes instructional material on the Alliance software installation, use, design modules outlining the design process from circuit description to circuit layout.

Project : Product Analysis : Maverick Product Elimination project
Responsibilities:
* Perform physical failure analysis: sample preparation and inspection, and failure diagnosis to locate failure site.
* Root cause Failure Analysis (destructive and non-destructive) of analog and logic integrated circuits with various failure modes.
* Failure analysis processes/skills acquired include manual de-capsulation, device de-layering/ de-processing, cross-sectioning, liquid crystal testing, SAM, SEM & EDS, microprobing, etc.
