1. Listing Coordinator Application [New York Stock Exchange, NY]
Description Listing Coordinator Application (LCA) system is one of NYSE’s core applications that help NYSE in maintaining, monitoring and retrieving the details pertaining to any specific issues of the Listed Companies. The process of new companies getting listed at NYSE involves capturing the prospect company information, initiating Financial, Qualitative, Regulatory reviews, capturing the review feedback and then the decision “If the company can get listed or not” is taken. This process is automated in LCA system for the New Business users of NYSE.
Role Onsite Coordinator
Contribution I was acting as an onsite coordinator for this project at the client place [NYSE] in NewYork. I was handing the Listing Coordinator module wherein I was responsible for coding server side business objects, clarifying the requirements with the client, thorough testing of the module, to handle user training sessions for the end users and to make sure all requirements are met as agreed.

2. Reference Data Warehouse System
Description Mizuho plans to have a Global Reference Data Warehouse (RDW) to support their multiple downstream applications with the objectives of: 1.Receiving, validating and updating the data to support the downstream systems. 2.Publishing validated data to Middleware. The RDW system will source its data from either automated feed or manual entry (via Intranet based system). The data received from automated feed will be in the form of XML messages. Once the data is received from either of the sources it will be validated against a set of predefined business rules before it gets stored in the RDW and RDWHistory databases if no verification is required. In case, verification of data is needed, it will be published only after verification is done by another system called Exception Management system. The data to be populated in Reference Data Warehouse will be related to Assets . Financial Institutions / parties Prices Calendar This system will be a single point source for all reference data. The developed system will work on the data model conceptualised by Mizuho.

Extu provides different services like: Membership management:This module takes care of the registration of the members into the EXTU system and maintaining their details. The Search Module deals with the searching for a b2b organisation or a product in the EXTU system in the member’s profiles or in the bulletin board. The Sales Module takes care of active buying and selling in the system.The security module :This acts like a security wall surrounding all modules .. The Admin module:This module deals with freezing/suspending an organization. The WebHosting module:SME Web Hosting is a service made available to the members in the Extu network (or a marketplace) for a subscription fee. This gives the SME organization, a web site hosted on the Extu System.

7. Development Project For Standard Chartered Bank, Hong Kong
Description The application is for fully automated banking system, which is developed in Java. Designed and implemented a relational database for Standard Chartered Bank for the efficient maintenance and retrieval of Employee, Customer, Transaction and loan details with Oracle 7.3.The Banking system has five modules General, Savings/Current, Deposits, Loans and Bills. The General module will take care of various master maintenance and other prerequisites for Bank that are being updated from time to time. The Savings and Current module handles accounts, Debit and Credit entries, issue of chequebooks and the interests. Opening a new account, regular closure and pre-closure of accounts are handled by Deposits module. Loan modules maintain the sanctioning the loans, Repayment schedules, and interest calculation. Bill module deals with collection of bills, bills returned and dishonoured. When a new customer is added information like customer name, address, type of deposit and amount are captured. The application also helps customer inquiries like balance lookup where the details of an account is retrieved using the account number. This application had a Home Page which provides the details of the Services, types of accounts available for different interest rates, Loan services, Online Query, List of the branches and ATM centres available etc. The Detailed relational data was residing in the Web Server and based on the request from the User the data are retrieved from the Database using the Servlets. Java is chosen as software for better communication among the widespread branches all over the world.

8. EDS-MSS Production Support & Maintenance
Description This is a maintenance project providing 24 hours Oncall Production Support (Batch & Online). It includes Analysis, Technical design, Construction and Testing of materials Scheduling System for General motors USA. Materials scheduling systems is a part of the MGO components system which is maintained by EDS for General Motors. The production support request needs to be resolved within an hour’s time for which we require a good understanding of the system and knowledge of JCI, DB2. The Maintenance work includes Maintenance Requests (Heatlogs) analysis and Change System Request (CSR’s) The scope of the CSR’s includes Analysis, High Level and Low Level Tech Design, Testing. Tools like Control-M, WSF2, CA7, Boole and Babbage, Champ, File-Aid and many EDS Developed utilities are used extensively in the project.
