April 2002 – present Alstom Power, China (Qinshan 3 CANDU-6 nuclear plant project, Nuclear power plant)

As Alstom site representative, assigned on the field to co-ordinate the commissioning of Unit 1 Stanby Diesel Generators for assisting the customer: Bechtel overseas inc. and Atomic Energy of Canada Limited in order to achieve the date of july, 12th for the test loss of class 4 on unit 1.
Duties includes:
· In charge of SDGs overall commissioning
· Reviewal of the Third Qinshan Nuclear Power Company and AECL commissioning procedures of SDGs.
· Attendance at commissioning meetings to explain or discuss technical issues with Bechtel and TQNPC.
· Setting up of a commissioning plan in order to support the final customer for achieving the catch -up commissioning schedule in view of the test of loss of class 4.

June 2000 - march 2002 Alstom Power, Taiwan ( Ho-Ping Power Plant Project, Coal Fired Power Station, 2*660MW)

Assigned on the field in Taiwan as BOP E Vice Commissioning Manager for the Ho-Ping Power Plant Project.
Duties includes:
· In charge of Turbine and Generator distributed control System commissioning. During a period of 13 months I was involved in the detail testing and setting to work of the DCS for the two steam turbines. Areas of work included sequence testing of the Power Plant main fan groups (ID, FD and PA), Boiler Burner management system, Turbine controls, generator protections and excitation, and analogue control loop tuning.
· In charge of class 3 electrical distributed control system commissioning.
· Assist BOP E site manager with budget and project planning; Review and approve payment requisitions of purchase orders for engineers, contractors, and equipment suppliers. Act as liaison between company and outside engineering firms for coordination of project management requirements.
· Attendance at project coordination meetings between contractors and Alstom, Taiwan.
· Attendance at commissioning and operations meetings to explain or discuss technical issues with customers.
· Co-ordinate and issue block permits ensuring complete sections of plant are safe to work on by various contractors.
· Writing technical procedures, field change documents, material request, technical request to design office.

Feb - june 2000 Cooper Cameron Australasia, Melbourne, Australia

Assigned to Cameron headquarters in Australasia. Duties included:
· Develop product designs to meet specific customer requirements
· Creation of engineering documents (BOM’s drawings) that are used to manufacture products for sale
· Attendance at sale meetings to explain or discuss technical issues with customers
· Analysis of customer purchase specifications, preparation of technical content in submissions to customer. Providing technical clarity by the revision of quotes and sales orders.
· Checking engineering calculations and designs produced by others in the capacity of a ‘responsible person’.
· Advise on manufacturing methods and processes, disposition of non-conforming products. Material substitutions and completion of Field Performance Reports

Oct 99 - Jan 00 Cooper Cameron Corporation, Singapore, Rp of Singapore and Houston, USA
(Shell Malampaya deep water project, South China Sea, 850m water depth)

As a Shell-Malampaya Project Team member (1 month in Singapore, 3 months in Houston, USA), provided technical support during the Engineering Phase of the Malampaya project. Learned about commisioning, subsea facilities implementation and completion for deep water projects.
In Singapore, in the Project Management Department, the work was dedicated to provide technical support for the Malampaya project (follow up of manifold assembly, assisted for Variation Order Requests to customer, contacts with suppliers, …)
In Houston, the assignment consisted in searching for optimal tie-in configurations and carrying out Finite element analysis (using Ansys) for the two jumpers and all Duplex tubing for the Malampaya subsea facilities. The completion of this assignment was followed by the end of the engineering phase of the Project, and a relocation to Melbourne, Australia.

Feb-July 1999 Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (Project sponsored by British Petroleum Asia/Pacific)

In the Robotic Research Centre, as part of the project: ” Development of an advanced Tele-operated underwater robotics ”, the work consisted in developing and implementing a Windows application for the inspection of Offshore welding structures (ACFM method). Reported progress of work. Collaborative research to develop Tele-operated robots for detection and welding repair of cracks in deep pipelines and platform structures is being pursued at the Robotic Research Centre. It was the first program initiated from a research grant from British Gas Asia Pacific Pte Ltd.

In the Assembly division Laboratory, Installed a force/torque sensor on a new robot: searched the optimal sensor market, ordered appropriate sensors ( Ati Industrial Automation), installed the driving mechanism and implemented user controls using C programming and a Linux real time operating system (internship)
