Studied basic web-site design using Macromedia Dreamweaver 3. Subjects included HTML, Java-script and Java applet design.
1991-1991 Accelerated SABRE subscriber Training Program, American Airlines Learning Center, Dallas, Texas
Learned all aspects of the SABRE reservation system at an intermediate level. These areas included airlines reservations, car rentals and hotel bookings.
1987-1988 Travel and Tourism Diploma, Compu-College School of Business, Victoria, B,C, Canada
Completed Travel & Tourism diploma program at the Compu-College Campus in Victoria, BC. This course taught all aspects of the Tourism industry including airlines reservations, hotel & car bookings, tour packages and geography.

My duties included working on the telephone with clients, booking flights, hotel accommodation, car rental and tour bookings with the SABRE reservations system until 1999. After the beginning of 2000 our company changed over to the APOLLO reservation system which I’m now quite familiar with. Other duties included dealing with the public (clients) on a daily basis. Also various organizational skills such as letter writing and travel advertising. I have also designed the Totem Travel web site during 2001 at www.daytona500tour.com .

My technical skills include working with databases on SQL(Structured Query Language) plus, Internet technologies including web site design, project management, MS-DOS, Word 2002, Access 2002, Visual Basic programming, Business writing, and a multitude of office organizational skills. I have been a columnist (Writer) for The Business Examiner for 7 years during my career in the travel industry. I have completed my A+ certification (Core,Hardware and Operating Systems technologies) and MCP certification (Windows 2000, installing, configuring, and maintaining) . Also working on my MCSE certification credential.
