Job Purpose:
Responsible for providing HR consulting and guidance to client group, with offices located in the Far East to support achievement of identified business goals and objectives. (in such areas as: coaching; change management; performance management; workforce planning; recruitment; training and development; employee communications and roll out of corporate compensation programs.)

Responsibilities:
Assist with the development and introduction of corporate HR programs and policies to drive employee retention and satisfaction.
Provide recommendations to business on HR issues (performance management, organizational design terminations, compensation, training) and corporate policies to support business initiatives.
Monitor the client group's internal environment to ensure a positive work climate and assist managers in ensuring a climate of open communication.
Ensure employees receive fair representation and treatment.
Work with the business to define the staffing needs and facilitate the recruitment process, including recruitment and selection for position vacancies within the business unit.
Participate in design and/or changes to the organizational structure to maximize the effectiveness of the human resources and in compliance with the overall corporate strategy.
Implement and support new corporate compensation and benefits initiatives for the business group.
Facilitate and oversee the administration of benefits and compensation programs for the business group to ensure compliance with overall corporate programs and internal equity.
Assist in planning a training and development curriculum that supports the business strategy. Research external training sources where necessary.
Facilitate or co-lead internal workshops as part of an overall development strategy, including orientation programs for both employees and managers.
Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and corporate policies and procedures.
Provide regular reports as part of an overall process to measure the effectiveness of HR programs on employee satisfaction and retention.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee transactions.
Additional responsibilities may include:
Global immigration and relocation coordination.
Employee communications including the Intranet.
Manage the Health and Safety function for business unit sites, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and reporting any workplace injuries or accidents to the insurance carrier.
Special projects and assignments.
Experience
Minimum 5 years progressive experience in a HR generalist role including experience in the following areas:
Performance Consulting
Management Coaching
Employee Relations
Training and Development
Compensation and Benefits
Change Management
Recruitment and Selection
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study with relevant courses in Human Resources, or equivalent work experience and demonstrated knowledge.
Fluency in local languages required to support Taiwan, China and Hong Kong, as well as in English.
