PROGRAM MANAGER
Job Responsibilities
· Define and interpret product requirements.
· Form, train and lead cross-functional core program teams.
· Act as program focal point with key outsourced suppliers and internal functions.
· Review technical specifications and work of team members.
· Manage program within sourced products guidelines and product life cycle process.
· Prepare and present phase reviews to product strategy council, Sr. management and others.
· Prepare program schedule and budget and manage deliverables to plan.
· Design and implement process improvements and reduce time to market.
· Manage engineering changes on program
· Manage third party deliverables
· Implement industry best practices
· Accountable with the global team for ensuring the product meets its targets for time-to-market, performance, quality, cost, volume and revenue.
Reporting Relationship: Reporting to Business Development Manager
Skills and experience:
· BS degree in engineering or technology science
· MBA degree in business preferred
· Minimum 8 years experience with high-tech companies in computer or computer peripheral related products
· Minimum 8 years program management experience
· Must have a good understanding of product support
· Proven track record in driving key technological efforts.
· Experience in working with international supply chains (suppliers).
· Experience in contract review to provide quality engineering and customer satisfaction inputs
· Ability to handle multiple projects on short deadlines in a fast paced environment
· Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience in a cross-functional matrix organization
· Fluent English language skills (written and verbal)
· International travel up to 50%
