Responsibilities include NT administration, systems and servers, application support, building servers, LAN and backoffice support and general networking.
The individual will be responsible for production systems, monitoring, maintaining and supporting systems.
Responsibilities / Duties
Support production environment - mission critical systems and maintain application functionality
Manage and support NT network/domain and associated services
Manage and support BackOffice products including NT Server 4.0, 2000 Server, Exchange 2000, SQL server, SMS and IIS
Manage data backups and disaster recovery. Knowledge of Backup Exec
Project management, implementing new technologies, perform upgrades and improvements initiatives
Maintain systems, perform maintenance, resolve technical issues
Responsible for application support and supporting the development group
Provide Excellent Tier 2 support
Maintain Cisco Switches and Routers
Competencies
Fundamental knowledge of general networking, Microsoft networking
Backoffice skills including Exchange 2000, SQL, IIS, Active Directory
Good troubleshooting skills
Good project management and organizational skills
5 years of experience in related fields
Certification MCSE, CCNA desired
Knowledge of networking concepts - LAN/WAN
experience
