The SoC System Architect will be the key technical expert in architecting and partitioning customers' processor-based SoC's. Responsibilities include guiding customer's engineering management and architects to best utilize high-performance processors cores in SoC designs to optimize performance, power and die cost, providing applications knowledge to clients Marketing and Engineering executives for new product development planning, performing application performance analyses for benchmarking and competitive analysis. This position requires a BSEE/MSEE or equivalent, plus 8 or more years of experience in architecting CPU-based SoC, 8 years of RISC microprocessor experience and experience with chip implementation. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills and can work closely with the sales force and customers. Must be able to do presentations to executives and handle questions for skeptical engineers. This position requires in depth understanding and experience with both CPU hardware & software environments. Candidate must meet all requirements to be considered.
