A leading global manufacturer and distributor of forklift trucks is seeking to establish a regional service engineering capability across its Asia dealer network, based in Taipei.
Reporting to the Service Manager, who is based in Australia, you will provide technical advice and service support to the independent dealerships across South East Asia. This will include undertaking regular reviews of dealership systems and processes, and advising on new “best engineering practices”. Liaising with the Australian Headquarters on service engineering policy and procedure will also be key.
You will be degree qualified in Engineering, and will have worked in several Asian markets. You will have extensive experience in industrial capital equipment, ideally in the forklift market, and in a third-party distribution environment.
With a strong customer approach you will posses excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese as a minimum. In addition, you will have strong analytical skills combined with a business orientation and the capacity to build relationships at senior levels.
