The product/test engineering positions are primarily "development oriented" in that the individual engineer is responsible for development and implementation of a test strategy/solution for new products as they come out of our design organization. They would be required to decide on the appropriate ATE test selection and options required to test their product. They would also be required to design/develop any test hardware interfaces for that product. They are also responsible for product characterization and production implementation. We currently use all Teradyne based ATE (Catalyst and J750), so having that prior experience is a plus. The educational requirements are a BS or MS in EE. We are looking for more junior Engs. at this time (3-7yrs experience). They need to have worked on some type of mixed-signal products (ie: CODECS, ADC/DAC, PLLs, Power AMPS, filters, DSPs, etc.)
