Qualifications:
Experience in vegetable farming, particularly Iceberg Lettuce, Broccoli, Cabbage;
Good theoretical background in farming techniques and technology;
Knowledge of cultural practices including preparation, irrigation, fertilization, pest control;
Experience in growing crops in short seasons bracketed by adverse weather;
Direct seed and transplant experience;
Organized, good communicator;
Experience in management of agricultural workers;
Persevant, thick-skinned, mentally tough.
Desired
Fluent in Mnadarin, good English;
College degree;
Familiar with Excel, Word;

Responsibilities:
Technical advice to AGOPS (supply)division;
Location and testing or promising new farming areas;
Planting and harvest scheduling for 12 month programs;
Preparation of budget and cash flow;
Variety stesting and recommendation;
Organization and management of trial plantings;
Technical advice to independant suppliers;
Imporvements in farm technical processes;
Development and implementation of model farm system;
Communicatation with vendors and management;
Quality control of vendors.
