Job Function:
Full custom circuit design in a CMOS broadband communication circuits project and guidance of a small group of designers.
Skills and Qualifications:
MSEE/PhD or equivalent with minimum 5-7 years industrial experience of high-speed CMOS circuit design. Excellent communication skills and capable of leading a small design group. Previous implementation/testing of communication circuits or other physical layer circuits preferred. Must have proven track record of product designs.
High-Speed Mixed-Signal/ Full-Custom CMOS IC Design Engineers
Job Function :
Be a team member implementing high-speed CMOS communication circuits. Design Mux/demux, SERDES, FIFO buffering, frequency dividers/counters, and other circuit blocks for broadband communication systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
MSEE/PhD or equivalent with minimum 2-4 years industrial experience of CMOS circuit design above 400MHz clock rates. Solid understanding of timing and clock skew. Previous implementation/testing of communication circuits or other physical layer circuits preferred. Understand the need for building robust and testable circuits.
Analog/Mixed-Signal CMOS IC Design Engineers
Job Function:
Design various adaptive replica-bias circuits and feedback loop subsystems in CMOS as part of broadband communications IC's. Design voltage-, current-, delay-, and impedance-matching circuits.
Skills and Qualifications:
MSEE/PhD or equivalent with minimum 2-4 years industrial experience of analog CMOS circuit design. Solid experience of amplifiers and feedback loop design. Knowledge of various industry standard IO buffers preferred and understanding of phase-locked loops a plus.
I/O Pad, ESD & Buffer Circuit Design Engineers
Job Function:
Specification, modelling, design and evaluation of ESD protection for high-speed CMOS IO pads. Design of industry standard LVDS/LVPECL/CML drivers and I/O buffers in CMOS.
Skills and Qualifications:
MSEE/PhD or equivalent and 3+ years industrial circuit design experience. Experience in ESD and latchup prevention is required. Knowledge of various industry standard interfaces is desired. Must be teamwork oriented.
High-Speed IC Test Engineers
Job Function:
Test, evaluation and characterization of high-speed communication circuits and amplifiers including functionality, jitter, noise, S-parameters, and bandwidth. Possibly high-quality PCB test and evaluation board design.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum BSEE + 5 years or MSEE + 3 years industrial experience of high-speed (>1Gbps) testing. Intimately familiar with Bit Error Rate Testers (BERT), pattern generators, network analyzers, and logic analyzers. Knowledge of low-parasitic sockets, chip mounting techniques, and PCB board design highly desired. Knowledge of Matlab or other graph/statistics software a plus. Must be teamwork oriented and good in communication.
Senior Layout Design Engineers
Job Function:
Transistor level CMOS IC layout of full-custom digital/mixed-mode/analog circuits including IO buffers, ESD protection, DRC checking, LVS, chip floor planning, full-chip assembly, and parasitic extraction.
Skills and Qualifications:
4-6 years experience in transistor/cell/block IC layout, full-chip assembly, and leading a layout team in full-chip planning and assembly. Good knowledge of electrical parasitics in layout and semiconductor devices. Basic understanding of CMOS IC process technology.
