(I) Description
Our business is the Application Server Business, which enhances spatial Information for mobile wireless communication, We have a list of growing partners in Japan, USA and Australia and as we have been expanding our business abroad, we are looking for fresh people to join our multinational team.
APAS has been very successful due to the division of GIS company structures. APAS strongly focuses on marketing strategies and cost reduction with large information database. As a system integration section of Formida Software of the US, APAS manages and controls wireless informational database with RDBMS and proposes ideal visible and analyzable application environment.
For the next coming century, cellular phones will feature functions like PHS GPS, which can monitor people’s locations. APAS acknowledges the demand for people to know “ where” and “what” and other kinds of wireless communication tools are going to be on the increase. APAS will provide fast and correctly information-using FIRE that can be easily connected with existing information providing companies.
APAS is confident that in the near future, we can collect and organize all information such as maps and satellite information, and make it possible to provide “when” “where” “what” information whenever the information is in demand. We are also planning to broadcast the information through Web sites, Cable TV, and PDA.
(II) Qualification:
1. Academic background not relevant
2. Native Taiwanese person
3. Language abilities preferred:
- English/Japanese
- Chinese
4. Knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, VB, Network (TCP/IP), UNIX
5. Have at least 5-year experience in this kind of
field
6. Have interest in Taiwanese mobile phone market
industry and mobile phone market in general
7. Understand the Taiwanese culture and business
8. Must be able to work in team and independently
climate/culture in Taiwan
(III) Responsibilities:
We want to find marketing engineer or business development representative in Taiwan who can communicate in English or Japanese. His/her mission is to support and develop a joint venture company work in Taiwan. Candidates with strong aspiration and motivation to tackle new business, experience, and abilities are encouraged to apply.
(IV) Benefit and Salary:
Monthly salary 300,000 Yen or above (depends on experiences and ability)
5 working days (yearly holidays: 120 days including public holidays, New Year’s holiday, and paid holidays)
