Responsibilities:

Failure Analysis and Yield Improvement support of V/ULSI products and development of advanced
F/A techniques and methodology
F/A of Quality Failures, customer returns, analytical support for internal evaluation and yield improvement
Fault Isolation and determination of fail mechanisms; interfacing with Design/Product/Process Engineering to interpret F/A findings and define corrective actions; be productive in design and production phases of new products; improve existing F/A techniques and new methodologies
Skills required:

Extensive background in semiconductor processing, solid state physics, EE basics; proficiency in computer hardware and software (Assembly, UNIX, PASCAL, C)
Good communications skills
Fault isolation techniques; de-processing procedures
Microprocessor software/hardware familiarity
Knowledge of device design, fabrication and testing
Logic design and simulation.
