Responsibilities:
Develop DSP based digital speaker product reference designs using TI silicon, algorithms, & software
Audio systems engineer, algorithm development & implementation on TI DSPs for Digital Speaker audio applications & reference platforms
Perform audio systems & software engineer
Develop audio algorithms & analyze using Matlab & C simulations
Algorithm development & implementation will include audio decoders as well as voice band audio processing
Implement in fixed point C & assembly on TI C54x DSPs
Test & analyze algorithm performance
. Skills required:
Experience with digital signal processing algorithm development, digital filter design, & Matlab analysis
Experience with real-time embedded software, integrated C & assembly language programming, & fixed point DSP assembly code development
Obtain working knowledge of audio algorithms & their application to digital speakers
Proficient in use of TI C54x development tools including assembler, linker, C-compiler & debugger software
Develop firm understanding of TI C54x architecture, mnemonic instruction set, & C-compiler issues/assembly conventions
Prefer U.S. Equivalent Master's Level or PhD in electrical engineering
Also, experience with the following is a plus (given in decreasing level of importance): Implementation of audio decoders such as AC3, MPEG, etc. Audio algorithms for SRC, AEC, noise reduction, equalization, FFTs, DCT, etc. TI C54x DSP programming
