Responsibilities:
New product definition & digital audio systems definition
Leverage TI DSP & mixed-signal technologies to formulate cost-effective solutions for digital speakers & digital audio systems
Understand customers' end-equipment architecture & technology trends
Write product specifications, interface with customers to validate products' features, & work with design engineer to ensure product feasibility
Also, support silicon evaluation efforts, & customer design-in System requirement & design trade-off analysis, work closely with circuit design team
Silicon evaluation: design of evaluation board, silicon evaluation
Meet with customers: understand end-equipment architecture trends, define new products to match their needs, develop reference designs or sponsor their development
Documentation: Silicon product specification, evaluation test plans as appropriate, system design specifications & recommendations
Market: Understand new audio standards & technology trends
Participate in technical conference & industry-wide working groups
. Skills required:
8 years of engineer experience
Board design & DSP & or mixed-signal experience
Applications engineer experience
Analog, digital, & mixed signal design exerience
Software & hardware development experience
Audio system expertise
Understand product development process
Prefer U.S. equivalent Master's Level Degree
