Responsibilities:

To design & develop new IC's for MSP-CPCP Computer Health Monitoring Product Strategy
Responsible for design & development of mixed-signal Computer Health Monitoring products including systems analysis, product definition, circuit design, layout supervision & device characterization
Design mixed-signal custom & catalog IC's
Typical circuits include switch & linear VREG's, motor controllers, lamp/solenoid drivers, DAV/ADC's, & digital interfaces
Analyze system requirements & develop product definitions
Work in design team environment, simulate circuit design, cost performance trade-offs, supervise layout, lab characterization, & release to production are all part of job function
Skills required:

Linear mixed-signal BiCMOS IC design
SPICE simulation, Verilog/VHDL exp, Saber simulation, mixed-mode CADENCE simulation, synthesis/back-annotation exp, IC layout, lab characterization ability
Self-motivated with interpersonal communication & leadership skills
Good communication skills in dealing with customer
Computer Health Monitoring design techniques, mixed-mode design & simulation using Cadence/TI-SPICE/Verilog/Saber
Design of high voltage/high current, knowledge of device physics, CADENCE experience IC thermal modeling.
