The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will be:
The Project Lead in deploying Oracle Financial Applications (Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Receivables, Oracle Payables Oracle Fixed Assets, Oracle Purchasing and Oracle Project Accounting) at overseas subsidiaries.
The SSA may not have the expertise for all of the above-mentioned modules, but he/she is expected to learn the basic of the less familiar modules and leverage on colleagues.
Maintenance, development and implementation of Oracle Financial (Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Receivables, Oracle Payables, Oracle Fixed Assets, Oracle Purchasing, Oracle Project Accounting and Oracle Financial Anaylser) projects.
The SSA will be the Project Leader for 1-3 of the above-mentioned modules at any one time.
Skills
The candidate should possess some of the skill sets listed below. It is not necessary to have all the skills stated, but the candidate who possesses more of these skills will be favourably considered.
- Developing/deploying Oracle applications in Unix environment
- Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
- Oracle Financial 11i
- Oracle General Ledger
- Oracle Fixed Assets
- Oracle Payables
- Oracle Receivables
- Oracle Purchasing
- Oracle Project Costing
- Oracle Project Billing
- Oracle Financial Analyser
- Oracle Forms 6i
- Oracle Reports 6i
- Oracle 9iAS apps server
- Experience in global/regional deployment of Oracle financial systems will be favourably considered.
- Java development
Candidates must have at least 3 years of working experience with Oracle Financials and good project management skill
Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related discipline, Business Administration or Accountancy
